Q: Do CFLs contain mercury?

A: CFLs contain a very small amount of mercury sealed within the glass tubing - an average of 5 milligrams which is about the amount that would cover the tip of a ballpoint pen. By comparison, older thermometers contain about 500 milligrams of mercury.

 

Q: What size chandelier should I get for my dining room table?

 

A: Reduce the width of your table by 12” and thats a good average diameter of chandelier.  Please take into consideration the room size and ceiling height.
